in different areas, the ecology, which is also the style and choice of life, civic consciousness - talk politics in the strict sense is an understatement - al futuro, non facile, non gradevole, non rassicurante, alla religiosità, poiché di idoli si tratta. Caratteristiche comuni sono la manualità e la cura nell’esecuzione, mai troppo diligente, tuttavia riscontrabile nelle grandi opere come nei dettagli, nelle saldature come nei colpi di lima, nel progetto dell’installazione; Fiorellini ne è il regista, i replicanti metallici sull’attenti possono ricordare i guerrieri dell’esercito di Xian, ma sono allo sbando.
Paolo Fiorellini è nato a Sarzana (La Spezia) nel 1961, dove vive e lavora in un ex
biscottificio. Nel 1985 ha frequentato l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara.
