Rules of the competition.

1. IL CONCORSO.

a. Il concorso “Scriviamo insieme una pagina di storia della nostra comunità: Fondi 3 Febbraio 1969” è organizzato dall’Associazione Forum delle Idee .

b. Ha lo scopo di favorire la conoscenza della storia della nostra comunità, di promuoverne il territory and to involve young people in this objective and will enhance its capacity.

2. MATERIALS ALLOWED IN THE COMPETITION.

a. Audiovisual. Movies or graphic reconstructions of the maximum duration of 10 minutes.

b. stories written (maximum 6 pages - 30 lines by 60 characters)

c. photo (up to 3 unpublished photos)

3. REQUEST FOR PARTICIPATION RULES 'AND REQUIREMENTS.

a. The contest is open for all young people resident in the Province of Latina, aged between 16 and 25 years.

b. Applicants must submit by March 31, 2009 an envelope containing the application and release form (Appendix 1) and unpublished material produced for the competition in three copies on CD / DVD.

c. Deliveries can be made by registered letter at: Association Forum of Ideas in C.so Matteotti 94-04100 Latina - LT (reason "Contest:" We write together a page of history of our community ") or by hand at the headquarters of the following associations:

· Associazione “Il Capannone”, Via Lazio 14 a Fondi(nei giorni di sabato e domenica dalle ore 16.00 alle ore 19.30) – recapito: 328.2632805;

· "Murales"- Associazione di Promozione Ambientale Culturale e Sociale - Via Ponte Gagliardo 33, 04022 Fondi (dal Martedì al Venerdì dalle ore 18,00 alle 20,30). Recapito: Tel. 0771500145

d. I materiali non verranno restituiti.

e. E’prevista la possibilità di partecipare anche in gruppo ed in forma associata.

4. SELEZIONE DEI MATERIALI, GIUDICI E PREMI.

a. I vincitori verranno scelti da una giuria di sette persons (the president of the Forum of Ideas, a historian, a communications expert, a director, a photographer, a writer, a professor or dean of tertiary institution).

b. For each of the three categories (visual, written stories and photography) will be awarded the first prize with a contribution of € 250.00. All works accepted in the competition will be read or displayed or projected in the prize-giving event. All participants will receive an award of appreciation for the work done and a certificate of participation or prize.

5. COSTS. There are no enrollment fees.

6. ACCEPTED. Festival participation provides for the acceptance of this rule in its entirety.

«Rivolta delle arance », la Storia che rivive.
Si è svolto nel pomeriggio di ieri, all’interno della sala del Castello baronale, il convegno che ha celebrato il quarantennale della protesta organizzata dai contadini di Fondi il 3 febbraio del 1969: quel giorno la città, allo stremo per la crisi agrumaria, si ribellò allo Stato che continuava ad ignorarne le richieste di aiuto; la ferrovia venne bloccata, si eressero barricate e la polizia, in assetto antisommossa, caricò i dimostranti. Una «rivolta» in grande stile cui seguì una sanguinosa repressione.

regionale Domenico Di Resta e l’ex primo cittadino di Fondi Arcangelo Rotunno. «Come del resto è accaduto ogniqualvolta Fondi si è trovata in difficoltà».
Il convegno, organizzato dall’associazione «Forum delle idee» e volto a reinterpretare e contestualizzare la rivolta, è stato integrato con una serie di pregevoli filmati d’epoca ed una mostra fotografica. Distribuito, nel contempo, anche il libro contenente interventi, contributi fotografici e la raccolta degli atti delle discussioni parlamentari che lo stesso Di Resta ha stampato per l'occasione.
